Asset Support Group is committed to achieving the highest standards of Health, Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) performance. In doing so, we aim to create and maintain a healthy and safe work environment for all employees, contractors, customers and the community throughout all our business activities.
To help achieve this, we engaged Compass Assurance Services to audit us against both the international ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System standard and the Australian and New Zealand AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. We believe that it is unnecessary to undertake an external environmental audit as our work has minimal environmental impact and is adequately managed through our existing HSEQ and ISO procedures.
ASG is proud to also have achieved accreditation in these Management Systems. We believe that our certification plays a significant role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Our externally audited, HSEQ program exposes our whole business model to the stringent processes associated with ISO 9001 and AS 4801.
Through these programs, we continuously review our procedures and processes along with documentation to ensure that they are relevant, effective, legal and comprehensive, and provide working methodologies for our field teams. This ensures that we maintain our service levels and continue to meet our customers’ requirements at all times.
Many of our larger customers expect that their service providers have achieved this certification and Asset Support Group can demonstrate our commitment by developing a long-term relationship with these customers. Regardless of size, our field teams treat all our customers with equal care. This means that our smaller to medium size clients can also enjoy the benefits of our quality service.
In order to maintain accreditation; Asset Support Group is audited on a six monthly basis by an external auditor from Compass Assurance Services. Our recent external certification audit report demonstrates full compliance with both ISO 9001 and AS 4801 standards. The report has also been used to drive further improvements in our systems.
To ensure that Assert Support Group delivers on our promises, we have underpinned our accreditation program using a proprietary state-of-the-art software solution, which links our planning system with our data capture devices. This ensures that when our technician checks the schedule, it also comes with the last test result data. Thus, he is certain what needs to be tested again and where it is located. Guaranteeing that nothing is missed.
The integrated system is a very effective tool and includes a range of features, which significantly reduce test time and operator time. This in turn reduces service costs while enhancing the accuracy and quality of our service. Through the online database, clients can view a range of reports on their own desktop computer using the source data from our server. Available reports include performance reports, test results, next test dates, among many others. As a further feature clients will have access to edit or append the contact data stored on the server. This means contact details can be changed or updated by authorised personnel, so it is always current and accurate.
